Madrid, 11 November 2019
In October, Gestair took part in the I National Forum on Runway Safety in Madrid organised by AESA (Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency). As the leading operator of executive aircraft at a national level, Gestair cooperated alongside other companies and institutions from the aeronautical field, providing relevant aspects as regards Operational Safety in its operation, for the design of a future National Runway Safety Programme aimed at the requirements of the sector.
AESA revealed, as part of the event, some aspects of the new version of the European Action Plan for the Prevention of Runway Excursions (EAPPRE), as well as of the new basic training in Operational Safety required for staff with access to the aerodrome movement area (AVSAF) for 2020.
Gestair, always committed to continuous improvement in order to achieve the highest standards of Operational Safety, is represented both in national and international forums in aiming for an operation to obtain excellence through knowledge of the Good Practices implemented by the sector. The company currently has a fleet of 37 executive aircraft of different models and cabins.
